Pilates Classes Instructor – Melissa Vincent (Founder and Instructor)
Melissa started practicing Pilates over 15 years ago. As a former competitive gymnast and team sports player, she found with regular Pilates practice she could maintain her flexibility, overall body strength and fitness. Her love of Pilates led her to train as instructor with Progressive Pilates Academy in 2008. Melissa has also trained with Body Balance and STOTT Pilates and is fully qualified to teach Beginner to Level 2 Mat Pilates.
She is also certified to teach Pre and Post Natal Pilates and Pilates classes for the older client.
Melissa has extensive experience in teaching group Pilates within the fitness industry. Her classes are varied and enjoyable, offering her clients a challenging workout whilst ensuring safe and effective Pilates practice. She enjoys seeing the endless benefit of regular Pilates practice for clients, especially those using Pilates to overcome specific injuries.
Melissa is also trained in using small props, therabands, foam rollers, fit circle and stability ball.
Melissa regularly attends workshops, including Pilates for Men and AIS Stretching,so as to bring lots of different elements to her classes and to keep up to date with the Pilates method. She is passionate about Pilates and is constantly updating and honing her skills, and furthering her education in Pilates.
Melissa is also a busy mum of two little girls, she practiced and taught Pilates classes throughout both her pregnancies and saw the endless benefits in doing so, both during and post pregnancy.
Melissa has a particular interest in Pregnancy Pilates, and enjoys working with client’s right throughout their pregnancy journey, ensuring safe practice for a healthy mum and baby.
She is also a Certified Baby Massage Instructor (CIMI), training in 2014 with Baby Massage Ireland, part of International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM).
Robyn Fitzpatrick ( Mat Pilates and Barre Instructor)
Having worked in the health and fitness industry since 2010 Robyn is thrilled to share her natural love of movement and flow.
Robyn teaches from a background of Pilates, Bikram Yoga and Boot Camp and is certified in Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga, Personal Training, Kettlebells, TRX and Spin, making her classes unique and energetic.
Robyn started yoga and Pilates ten years ago and instantly fell in love with the grace and beauty of the movements. Since then she has embodied all things Yoga and Pilates into her life and has continued her study around the world & enjoys to share her passion through teaching.
Robyn invites students to move with freedom in their form and softness in their strength as her classes are filled with warmth, encouragement and positivity.
She has a firm belief that we are all unique, all looking for different results, with different bodies, different habits and different lives.
Robyn teaches challengin Mat Pilates and a tough and high energy Barre class at The Pilates Hub and is a very popular and friendly instructor to our clients.
